The executive team of IWIB4AI leads with integrity, ensuring accountability, trust, transparency, and ethical leadership in every aspect of its mission. Composed of dedicated men and women who volunteer with a long-term vision and proactively, the team works closely with the core team and advisors as well as diverse stakeholders to represent civil society in the AI conversation. By fostering collaboration, inclusivity, and multidisciplinary expertise, the executive team drives initiatives that shape responsible AI development and deployment, advocating for human rights, safety, privacy, lawfulness, and transparency in AI.

Patricia Gabay

Patricia brings extensive experience supporting leaders across tech, sustainability, and innovation-driven sectors. With a rich international background, having studied and worked across Europe and Asia, she brings a culturally attuned approach to collaboration, systems-thinking, and strategic problem-solving. Patricia has contributed to both corporate and startup ecosystems, and her passion for social impact runs deep. At IWIB4AI, Patricia will lead our financial operations with a focus on efficiency, resilience, and long-term impact.

Global Chief Strategy Officer

Miguel Portaz

Miguel has an outstanding professional career, having held various roles in renowned multinational technology companies. Throughout his career, he has led multidisciplinary teams, and thanks to his extensive experience in international environments, he has been nominated for positions in scientific societies and actively participates in prestigious conferences. He will develop and oversee long-term strategic initiatives, identify key trends, opportunities and challenges in AI ethics, and provide strategic guidance to the CEO on organizational priorities.

Jose Berengueres

A PhD in bio-inspired robotics from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Jose is an associate professor of Computer Science and has worked at the EECS department KTH as master thesis supervisor. Jose teaches executive education at business and design schools, and also consults for various companies such as Apple, Lulu Group, Etihad Airways, and Porsche Middle East. Author of The Brown Book of Design Thinking (2011), Sketch Thinking (2015), and Introduction to Data Visualization & Storytelling (2019).

Ines Priori Sanz

Ines is an Argentinian-Swedish professional based in Stockholm, and a former Field Marketing Director at SAP Nordics, where she built a broad foundation across the tech and payments ecosystem through roles at Bambora, iZettle, and Microsoft. Her early career in Argentina she worked with brands such as Coca‑Cola FEMSA, Philips, Air France, and Roche.

Samuel Sundin

Samuel is an ethical AI advocate who works closely with IWIB4AI's Founder and, the Grants and Innovation Officers to integrate fundraising and partnership strategy. Sam will help shape IWIB4AI’s income diversification strategy, including membership models, consulting offerings, and co-branded events as well as collaborate with regional leads to elevate local projects to global visibility and funding

Responsible AI Manager with solid expertise in aligning technological innovation with existing regulatory requirements, human and societal values. PhD in Philosophy and International Relations at the Autonomous University of Madrid and a degree in Political Sciences and Business Administration.

With extensive experience across MedTech, Biotech, SaaS, VR, IT consulting, and finance, Laura understands how AI is changing industries from the inside out. Laura has spent the past 15 years helping companies build, scale, and commercialize cutting-edge innovations.
