The executive team of IWIB4AI Think-Tank leads with integrity, ensuring accountability, trust, transparency, and ethical leadership in every aspect of its mission. Composed of dedicated men and women who volunteer with a long-term vision and proactively, the team works closely with the core team and advisors as well as diverse stakeholders to represent civil society in the AI conversation. By fostering collaboration, inclusivity, and multidisciplinary expertise, the executive team drives initiatives that shape responsible AI development and deployment, advocating for human rights, safety, privacy, lawfulness, and transparency in AI.

With her unmatched experience in tech critique, AI ethics, and science communication, Esther brings a bold, critical, and human perspective to IWIB4AI’s mission.

Miguel Portaz
Miguel has an outstanding professional career, having held various roles in renowned multinational technology companies. Throughout his career, he has led multidisciplinary teams, and thanks to his extensive experience in international environments, he has been nominated for positions in scientific societies and actively participates in prestigious conferences. He will develop and oversee long-term strategic initiatives, identify key trends, opportunities and challenges in AI ethics, and provide strategic guidance to the CEO on organizational priorities.

Jose Berengueres
A PhD in bio-inspired robotics from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Jose is associate professor of Computer Science. Currently, he is with the EECS department KTH as master thesis supervisor. He also teaches executive education at business and design schools, and lectures to corporations and governments. He also consults for various companies such as Apple, Lulu Group, Etihad Airways, and Porsche Middle East. In 2008, he developed two startups (a visual Twitter and a photo-sharing site). Author of The Brown Book of Design Thinking (2011), Sketch Thinking (2015), and Introduction to Data Visualization & Storytelling (2019). He serves as associate editor of IEEE Transactions on Technology and Society
